Lyte Names Jorgen Bocklage Chief Financial Officer

Written by Admin | June 21, 2021

Our CEO, Ant Taylor, said it best: “the next chapter has begun!”

As we continue to grow, we want to show our commitment to the users of our platform on both sides by supercharging our team to keep moving us forward. Our newest addition to the crew is Jorgen Bocklage as Chief Financial Officer.

Before joining the Lyte team, Jorgen worked as the CFO and SVP of Operations at MealPal. Jorgen’s impressive resume doesn’t end there, either. He also served as the CFO of Behalf and the SVP Finance of Dashlane.

Jorgen earned his degree in Economics from Colby College and is a CFA charter holder. He’s highly experienced with startups, leading fundraising, treasury, FP&A, analytics, and operations functions.

In short, he’s an extremely valuable asset to our team.

We are ecstatic for Jorgen to begin working with our incredible team. His primary duties at Lyte will include expanding the company’s relationship with investors, lenders, and strategic partners. He’ll also spearhead the way of overseeing financial initiatives, accounting, and operations.

This announcement comes on the heels of significant growth for Lyte. Our ticketing platform is now available in America, New Zealand, and Australia. And we intend to keep growing until fans around the world can have easy access to guaranteed tickets at a fair price.

We recently revealed our partnerships with Jackson Browne and L.O.L. Surprise! Live Tour for our new priority reservation technology. This technology allows fans to reserve, return, or exchange tickets to see their favorite artists. It’s like waiting in line to get your hands on tickets when they first come out. Only you can do it in your sweatpants from your couch.

Priority reservation helps tour promoters and planners gauge interest in various cities for their artists. Our platform allows fans to reserve their spot in line for tickets if that artist were to play in a town near them.

As a clear indication of market interest begins to show, tour planners will be able to work with venues based on the interest shown by the reservation holders. The artists won’t have to play their first shows back on the road to half-empty houses.

We created Lyte to keep tickets in the hands of fans and out of the hands of scalpers. Priority reservation allows fans to buy tickets before the general sale begins, and the concert sells out within ten minutes because people buy tickets to sell at a higher price.

And if something comes up—because you never know anymore—we allow fans to return their tickets.

Yes, we know that’s practically unheard of in the ticketing world. But by allowing fans to return their tickets, we can offer the returned tickets to people on a waitlist for tickets to that event. The tickets will stay in the hands of fans, and the venue will still be packed.

We’re looking forward to the growth we’ll see as Jorgen settles into his new role. If you’re interested in growing with us, reach out to us for more information about our ticketing platform or working with us.
