We have been collaborating and listening closely to the questions and concerns of our clients and partners in regard to navigating postponements and cancellations.

As a result, we have compiled a comprehensive list of answers to questions that have come up about how Lyte works for your events during these uncertain times and several more in anticipation of future concerns.

When will fans receive their payout?

Any fans that use a Lyte Exchange or our Send Tickets feature will receive their payout via Paypal within 48 hours after the event date. Lyte holds this money until the event plays out in case of cancellation.

Are there any upfront costs with Lyte?

No. We’re an extension of your primary ticketing platform and we generate our revenue on the tickets we sell. We’re integrated with most primary ticketing platforms including Ticketmaster, AXS, Eventbrite, See Tickets, Etix, Showclix, SquadUp, Tickets.com, and many others.

Who takes returns?

Lyte will take returns for any sold out tiers based on waitlist demand and weirdly we’re still seeing waitlist demand grow for sold out tiers of tickets.

None of my events are sold out. How can Lyte help?

Don’t worry. This is most of the events that we’re working with who have seen ticket sales dry up as a result of COVID-19. For non-sold out tiers, Lyte offers features like Send Tickets (our fan-2-fan sales tool), Swaps, charitable donations, and incentives. Our goal is to provide options to your fans while helping you preserve cash flow.

Who handles customer service for tickets sold through Lyte?

Lyte has a fan experience team that will answer any questions about tickets purchased on Lyte. We do the heavy lifting for any tickets sold for Lyte. On the day-of-event, your client services manager will be available to help you with any customer questions and any last-minute releases.

What happens if we decide to cancel our already postponed event?

Lyte’s primary focus is to do right by your fans and our customers. We will refund any purchasers within whatever window you’ve offered to fans who purchased tickets on your primary platform.

When should we go back on sale?

We’re already seeing festivals sell out for 2021. There’s no reason you shouldn’t go back on sale as soon as possible. Lyte can help create a better fan experience for going back on sale with features like flexible (returnable) tickets, payment plans, group transactions, and multiple fulfillment options that work with your primary ticketing platform to reward your most loyal customers.
