We’re so excited to announce the expansion of our executive team with the appointment of Donovan Bass as Lyte’s VP of Product Marketing.

This news follows recent additions to Lyte’s executive team with Wendi Sturgis as President and Krystle Jackson as Chief of Staff to the CEO Ant Taylor. But with the return of live entertainment on the horizon, Bass will help Lyte continue to find new ways to improve the event experience for all fans.

Bass joins us after leading Product Marketing at VSCO where he played an instrumental role in expanding the company’s product and business strategies to capture new consumer segments. He has also held crucial positions at companies such as Dropbox, Zoox, and Jawbone during periods of significant growth.

We’re thrilled to have Donovan lead the way in Lyte’s product marketing as live events return after a challenging year.

This has also been an exciting moment for Lyte’s platform. We’ve recently launched our transformative priority reservation system, which will make it easier than ever for fans to secure tickets to the events they’re interested in.

Our innovative reservation platform allows customers to reserve their spot in line for their favorite artists before the official dates are announced. Fans can pick a particular artist, the city they’re closest to, and the number of tickets they want then pay a small fee to secure their spot. Before the tickets are released to the general public, those who have made a priority reservation will receive access to an advance on sale link to buy available tickets.

The priority reservation method keeps tickets in the hands of the fans and away from scalpers. We partnered up with the Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival in Las Vegas to offer priority reservations for single-day tickets. To prevent ticket scalpers from lining the entrance and selling tickets for three times their market price, the festival turned to Lyte for a solution. Priority reservations guarantees that customers can get authenticated tickets at a fair price when available.

As our system simplifies the ticketing process for more vendors, we realize we have to expand internally to keep up. We believe Bass is the perfect man for the job.

Bass will prepare Lyte for the next stage of product-market growth and set the foundation for a strong market presence. His jobs will include developing company-wide product messaging and positioning;, pricing and packaging strategy;, and driving high-visibility product launches.

Bass’ experience in entertainment, productivity, creativity, and wellness will help facilitate Lyte’s fast-paced growth. Bass uses a holistic understanding of an audience’s lifestyle to create products that feel like they were customized for each individual consumer.

As we make our way back to widespread concerts and events, we hope to connect with our audience on a more personal level. We’re excited to welcome Bass to the team at such an imperative time for growth and reaching our goals.
