Lyte Terms of Service

ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY FOR EVENT PARTNERS

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the guidelines and regulations for event organizers using technologies provided by Lyte, Inc., and its affiliates,  Lyte AU PTY LTD ABN 79 664 266 120 in Australia, Lyte Inc UK LTD Companies House Number 14348305 in the United Kingdom (“Lyte”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using our platform, event organizers agree to adhere to these rules to ensure a fair, secure, and efficient ticketing experience for all users.

 

Legitimate Event Promotion:

   Event organizers must use the platform for the legitimate promotion and sale of events. Misleading or deceptive practices are strictly prohibited.

Accurate Event Information:

   Ensure that all event information provided on the platform, including event details, pricing, dates, and locations, is accurate and up-to-date. Misrepresentation or false information is not permitted.

Compliance with Laws:

   Event organizers are responsible for complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including but not limited to permits, licenses, safety regulations, and event-specific requirements. This includes compliance with age restrictions and other event-specific requirements.

Copyright and Trademarks:

   Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not post or sell tickets that infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights. Only list tickets that you are authorized to sell.

Data Privacy:

   Protect the privacy of your event and the personal information of event attendees. Do not share or misuse customer data, and ensure that your event's data handling practices comply with data protection regulations. Do not engage in any form of data harvesting or unauthorized data collection.

Payment Services: 

   Lyte utilizes Hyperwallet payment services to deliver payments. Such payment services are subject to the Hyperwallet Terms of Service and the Hyperwallet Privacy Policy.

Refunds and Cancellations:

   Clearly communicate refund policies and procedures to ticket buyers. Refunds and cancellations should be handled in accordance with platform guidelines and applicable laws.

Compliance with Platform Policies:

   Adhere to all platform-specific terms and conditions, policies, and procedures related to ticketing, payment processing, event promotion and data privacy management.

Fraud Prevention:

   Take measures to prevent fraudulent ticketing practices, such as counterfeit tickets or unauthorized resales. Report suspicious activities to the platform for investigation. Any form of fraudulent activity, such as the use of counterfeit tickets, fake listings, or identity theft, is prohibited. Do not engage in deceptive practices that harm other users or the integrity of the platform.

User Support and Communication:

   Respond to inquiries from customers and the platform in a timely and professional manner. Provide excellent customer support to enhance the ticket-buying experience.

Security:

   Users must not attempt to breach the security of the platform, compromise the integrity of the website, or engage in hacking, phishing, or any other malicious activities that could disrupt the service or compromise user data.

Abuse and Harassment:

   Users are not allowed to post or promote content that is harmful, offensive, illegal, or inappropriate. This includes but is not limited to hate speech, discrimination, harassment, obscenity, or any content that violates local, national, or international laws. Treat all other users with respect and professionalism. Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior will not be tolerated. 

Reporting Violations:

    If you identify any violations of this AUP by other users or within your events, promptly report them to our support team. We rely on your cooperation to maintain a safe and reliable platform.

Enforcement:

    Violation of this AUP may result in actions, including but not limited to removal of events from the platform, suspension or termination of your organizer account, legal action, and cooperation with law enforcement authorities as required.

Revision of AUP:

    We reserve the right to modify or update this AUP at any time. Event organizers are responsible for regularly reviewing the AUP to ensure compliance.

 

By using Lyte’s platform as an event organizer, you agree to adhere to this Acceptable Use Policy. Your commitment to these guidelines is essential for creating a trustworthy and enjoyable ticketing experience for all users. We appreciate your cooperation and ethical conduct on our platform.
